Chicage Visit

What were the specific academic objectives of the lesson? Was to have the students use their sense of hearing to find out what is in each egg

Were the objectives grade-level appropriate? Yes it was it was appropriate for all primary classes

Were the objectives met? Yes the objectives was met

What factors were considered in selecting a content for this for this lesson? Trying to get them to have a hands on but auditory lesson. Give them something they are not use to.

How relevant was the content to previous and/or future lessons and/or future lessons and to the students? It was not relevant to any lesson I jus wanted to do something fun and hands on.

Briefly describe what you feel were your strongest moments of your lessons? The strongest moments was when I decided to take control fully and do the eggs myself and have them listen and when they were doing the twelve powerful words.

What did you recognize as area(s) needing improvement during the lesson? The students cant touch and stay focused at the same time. I can not really treat them as big kids yet have to remember they are still somewhat babies.

New Class, New Grade Reflection

Today I was not as prepared as I could have been because I was switched today. But even though they arent my normal 1st graders. These kindergartners are just as perfect. Instead of doing my normal lesson I went over the twelve powerful words and math problems. They will have a quiz next class.

Booklet Reflection

The specific academic objectives of this lesson was to use cause and effect. The grade level was definitely appropriate for my first graders. The objectives were met. We were trying to think out of the box and have the students learn and have fun. No it as not connected to the previous lesson. The strongest moments were when we were making up the story as a class. There was no weak moments. I have a wonderful class.

Math Unraaveling Reflection

The academic objective was to teach the students the use of math unraaveling to better them in getting more correct answers. The objective was appropriate for the grade level i had. The objectives were met by my students. I wanted to help the students comprehend the math they do. It was similar to the reading lesson just different subject. They understood the math they did. But they were rushing and there grades were not so good.

Reading Unnraveling Reflection

The objectives of my lesson was to have the students understand the steps of unraaveling and use it to benfiet them while doing fcat or just reading. The objectives were grade level appropriate. My lovely students did meet there objectives. I was thinking that they were taking the fcat soon so i needed to teach them a strategy that will help them to comprhend what they read. The lesson was not similar to what i have taught them before. The strongest moments were when the students were answering the questions and showing where they got there answer from. Nothing was needed to be improved they had a wonderful class
